Clara Rubin

Clara Rubin born in 1988 in Milan.

She lives and works in Milan, Italy.

She graduated from Camberwell College of Art in 2011 and Turps, Art School, London, 2022.
Rubins painted still lifes explore inherently Italian scenes, domestic settings, and the every-day intimacy of the home.
Her work is rooted in painting. The themes she explores revolve around ideas of home and identity, family and neighbourhood, nature and the man made.

She has depicted locations that are personal and well known to her, and she celebrates the experience of the place.
