Her artistic research starts from the observation and reproduction of objects placed on a plane, according to the method used by still life painters. Through the pictorial process, the shape of the subjects and the relationship between them are analyzed and the classic tools of painting, such as composition, perspective and color, are managed in such a way as to create a short circuit, primarily visual, which opens up to the construction of new meanings. In her works, a particular role is entrusted to light, understood not only as a physical datum, but also and above all as an object of reflection. The light, within his paintings, is no longer rational, but becomes symbolic and the subjects are thus charged with different emotions. For the artist, painting is therefore presented as a continuous perceptive and sensory research, which ceases to understand the relationship between man and nature as a relationship of univocal control, but highlights an almost symbiotic form of relationship.
