Clothes are the form we choose and the one we show, they are the way we depict ourselves, how we judge our- selves, how we get judged and our reactions to it. In their being extremely close to our bodies, they are the most
intimate and the most open form of our expression. We can see traces emerging from the fabrics that record movements and postures, methodical and unexpected occurrences, encounters and clashes.
The fabrics I use are the waste of today’s overproduction and consumerist attitude.
Seams are the unification of separation, the holding together of the separate, they pierce and hold to themselves, they tear to unite. The function of the artwork is to connect what is divided.
Painting is a narrative machine that arises from effects and reproduces effects, it is a visualized thought, it is the device that translates. The idea of an art that adhere to the objects, an art in which there is no difference but coincidence betwe- en the outside and the inside.
Painting can create order and order is always temporary: the only way to create order is to accept the existence of a stockpile.
